About Us

Emily’s Mini Farm began in 2013 as the passion project of 8-year-old Emily, starting with just six chicks on her family’s one-acre plot. She enjoyed caring for them and soon began selling fresh eggs by the roadside, sharing her love for animals with neighbours. What started as a small hobby grew into a beloved mini farm as Emily’s dedication inspired family, friends, and the local community. Over time, the farm expanded and now spans five acres in Lancashire, hosting a variety of animals.

Today, Emily’s Mini Farm is home to a diverse range of animals, each with its own charm. Alongside the original chickens, the farm now boasts ducks, geese, turkeys, and guinea fowl, adding unique sounds and life to the environment. We also care for pigs known for their curiosity, and alpacas loved for their soft wool and gentle nature.

The farm family includes playful goats, fluffy sheep, and cuddly rabbits and guinea pigs, which are favourites among children. Visitors can also meet our tortoises, who offer a fascinating glimpse into their slow, steady world.

The mobile version of Emily’s Mini Farm allows us to bring the joy of animals to people in various locations. Visitors of all ages can pet and feed the animals while learning about their roles on a farm. What began with one girl’s love for chickens has grown into a thriving mini farm, where animals are celebrated and cared for daily. Our mission is to share the joys of farming while fostering an appreciation for nature and the environment.
